So, tonight was my last Saturday EVER as a single lady (YAY!!!). I thought I was just going out with my friend Brooke for dinner, but when I got to Bonefish the host asked if I was there for the Bachelorette party and I said "No, I don't think so." Well, then he said, "Ooops, I think I just ruined the surprise-- are you getting married?" And of course I said yes and then he took me to a table with two of my friends, gifts, and more friends to come. It was such a pleasant, humbling surprise to have these ladies take time out of their weekend to spend with me before my wedding. I am so grateful for these sweet friendships and humbled by their generosity. Thank you, Brooke, for putting this all together!
Six days to go and we still have LOTS to do. Tonight we were working on our budget and now as a result, I have a major headache as I'm typing this!

And it can't come soon enough! We have pretty much everything ready...just need to start packing! Josiah got his suit...I'm picking up my dress tomorrow-- all is well! Please continue to pray for safe travels for us to Mackinac and throughout our honeymoon. We are just beyond thrilled about everything and can't wait to be married!
We had such a great time today at the shower hosted by Vicki Wilson and her daughter, Jennifer. Vicki and her husband are good friends of my parents', and Jenn and I have been friends since high school. We had a lovely group of ladies including: Darla Catoe, Donna Pounds, Connie Price, Lisa Kennedy & her daughter Ashton, Jessica, Fay Feather, Vicki's cousin Kathy and Kathy Drake. The menu was homemade from scratch by Vicki's cousin, Mrs. Kathy, and it was delicious! Heath and Key Lime fruit dip, Pimento Cheese Sandwiches, mini Quiche pies, hot chicken salad, and of course sweet tea! The cake was made by my friend Miggie's aunt, who is a professional cake baker! It had strawberry filling and was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Some of the sweet gifts I (and Josiah) received included our pottery barn plates, a ruffled apron from Anthropolgie, an asparagus platter, tea pitcher, monogrammed throw, monogrammed hand towels, a salad spinner, and much more! My mom got me so many monogrammed things (note cards, note paper, luggage tags, etc)-- which I just LOVE! Overall, it was such an amazing day with awesome fellowship. Thank you again Wilson family for making this day so special...we love you so much!
Well, it's officially our wedding month and we are BEYOND excited! Right now, I (Jenna) am in Orlando, Florida for my first of two bridal showers. It is Sunday after church at our good friend Vicki's house...so I will definitely post pictures of all the fun soon! I return to Louisville on Wednesday and then have 2 1/2 weeks left of school and work until the wedding week!
