It's A Date!

At Mitchell's Fishery to celebrate the fact that I got my desired practicum this fall.  I will be working at Floyd Memorial Hospital in Indiana doing medical social work.  (March 6, 2009)
Our first bowling date (March 2, 2008)...I scored a 132, Josiah scored a 116...nothing really to brag about for either of us...haha.  Josiah wants to join a league!

UPDATE:  We went bowling again tonight (3/7/09) and Josiah beat me every game!  His top score was a 157!!!  I barely broke 100 1 out of 3 games :(

Visit to Aunt Paula's

We ate Sushi at Nori Nori one night...I am not as brave as Josiah...he had octopus!
Another day we went shopping at Lennox Square Mall and ate at CPK!
Josiah was so sweet to carry all my packages around for me...but we had to take a break and sit on these comfy couches!
At Seasons 52 for lunch
Last weekend Josiah and I went to Atlanta to visit my aunt Paula.  She lives in Sandy Springs.  The weather was not very good so we had limited options when it came to entertainment...which meant: malls malls and more malls!  Josiah was such a good sport and we had a great time just spending time together.  I think one of my favorite parts of the trip was the car ride up and down...we had some good heart to hearts :)  We got to spend some good time with Aunt P too...we went to Twisted Taco, Seasons 52, CPK, Nori Nori, and J. Christopher's.  Lots of good food!  We left on Sunday morning in the midst of an ice storm!  Very intense but once we got into TN the weather was beautiful.  We can't wait for our next trip! (2/26-3/1/2009)

perfect couple :)
Our Valentine's dinner set-up.  I made 3 cheese and chicken penne pasta, caesar salad, and hummus.  Josiah made chocolate mousse and brownies for dessert.  It was such a great evening and I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful man in my life!

My 25th Birthday

Posted by: Jenna

Mom got me gourmet cupcakes this year instead of a cake.  I thought that was such a great idea!  We had lemon, almond, and mint chocolate.
James was obsessed with blowing out the candles.  We had to light it 3 times because he kept blowing it out before they could sing Happy Birthday to me...

Josiah took me to Sunset Grille for my birthday.  It was so romantic :)  These are our wine glasses...mine is the full glass!
He surprised me with flowers on my birthday!!!
Aren't they just beautiful?

This past weekend, my mom took me to New York for my 25th birthday present.  I had never been before and it was one of the most amazing trips I've ever been on.  We stayed in Midtown, Manhattan in a high-rise condo.  We did a lot of shopping, eating, and walking around the city.  I also got to see a few friends of mine who have taken jobs in the city and are now true New Yorkers!  The best meal I had was on Saturday night with my friend Andrew...it was this hole in the wall place called "Aloe."  I had the most incredible pork dish of my life!  After a whirlwind weekend I am seriously considering a relocation to Manhattan!
